Every company has something to improve; the key is finding what's actually worth the time and money. The goal is to get the right things done efficiently, avoid unnecessary work and reduce risk. Reliability testing and product approvals are at the core, from planning to hands-on execution. We typically work with electronics and electromechanical devices, and the same logic carries over to other physical products too.
Reliability testing
Requirements, test strategy, planning, and hands-on execution to find failures before your customers do. The aim is to focus testing where it matters, not simply test more. A problem found before launch costs far less than returns, warranty claims and unhappy customers.
Hardware testing & test capability
EMC, reliability, and production test set-ups, plus developing and documenting the in-house R&D test environments that keep key testing under your control and allow faster, lower-cost testing during development.
Product approvals & certification
Requirements, documentation, and lab coordination that clear the path to market, including CE marking. New requirements keep coming and existing ones are regularly updated; we help you keep track of what applies, what actually needs to be done, and what doesn't. Getting this right early helps avoid unnecessary testing, rework and delays later in the project.
Processes & documentation
Requirements, test instructions and documentation tend to grow and change over time, and can gradually become outdated, duplicated or overly complex. Whether you're setting things up for the first time or improving what already exists, we help simplify and structure the information for reuse across projects, saving engineering time and making future projects easier. Well-structured documentation is also far easier to keep up to date with AI tools.
Consulting and training are available across all of this, helping teams and management understand what matters, why it matters, and where time and money are best spent.
How we work
We work flexibly: remotely or on-site, scoped to what your project or task needs, and agreed case by case. When a job calls for more, we draw on a trusted network of test labs and specialist partners, so you deal with one point of contact, not many. The four below are examples; the aim is to use the right level of support for the job.
01 · Single task
A specific deliverable: requirements mapping, a test plan, or a technical file (TCF) compilation for CE marking. Fast, focused, clearly scoped.
02 · Project support
Defined involvement in a product or R&D project, from a few weeks to several months. We work alongside your team, take ownership of the agreed scope and help keep the work moving.
03 · Ongoing role
Outsourced Test Manager or Certification Manager: expert support without a full-time hire.
04 · Independent review
Black-box validation or release-readiness assessment by an external expert with no stake in the outcome, helping uncover issues while there's still time to fix them.
About Nordic Proforce Oy
Experienced, independent expertise without the overhead of a large organization. We have no ties to specific labs, equipment vendors, or service models, so the advice is always in your interest. The goal is to get the right result without unnecessary work: quality, efficiency and sound engineering should support each other, not compete.
Our background spans around 30 years in electronics and high-tech, with roles at companies such as Nokia, Microsoft, Varjo Technologies and Aito Interactive. Since founding Nordic Proforce, we have continued to work with both start-ups and internationally known brands, with all work handled in confidence. Having worked on the product side and inside test houses, we understand both the pressure to ship and how approvals and labs actually run. We also have extensive experience working with ODM partners, from test planning and reliability validation to reviewing results and driving issues to closure. We primarily serve companies in Finland and the Nordics.
